Friends

This is a card that I just made for a new friend that I have made in the last 6 weeks or so. The

one card stock looks like it is a shinier purple in this picture but it is really a shinier light blue color. Strange how it changed colors in the picture.

Anyway, so this is a card for a new friend, hopefully the friendship is one that will last a long time! :)

Thank you card

I apparently really enjoy making thank you cards because that is what I make most often. This card I made for the church I attended all summer, when I was in Ohio. Although a very small church, they were able to really bless me and make me feel comfortable as I was in a new place.

I thought that I would share a picture of the card for you to see. :)

Another Card I made

This is a good bye and good luck type card I made for a friend how is moving on to a new job this summer and is leaving the area. I really like the way it turned out!

Thank You Card Blog Challenge

This is my entry for the "Thank you Card Challenge" my friend Sarosa is holding.
I have made this card for my church choir that I have become very attached to in the last year. Since tonight (Tuesday) is going to be my last time with them, I want to let them know how much they are appreciated. I have enjoyed their company, through practice, Sunday mornings, laughter and summer rehearsals. So that's the background information for you! :)

The card is made from a photo I took near campus, I glued the photo to a green cardstock and then to a black piece of cardstock to frame the photo. The music note is a cut out from a piece of purple paper that matched the flowers in the background!

Prayer Request

I haven't posted in awhile and I really need people to pray. I have very close friends at home that have been going through some tough times. The husband, father and grandfather spent a month in the hospital over Christmas because of severe depression. He's in the process of being readmitted at the moment because he tried committing suicide this morning. He needs some extreme prayer, his wife needs just as much as she is struggling with this, and their two children (both older and out of the house), and their two very young grandchildren (2 1/2, 1, and one to come in October). Especially because the grandkids start asking questions about where grandpa is and it makes it harder on the adults. They appreciate every prayer and I appreciate your willingness to help by praying.

New Pictures

I do have new pictures...I am SO excited to share them with you. However, my watermark program has decided that it is going to have a bug somewhere in it. So I am contacting the company about it and hopefully it will be resolved soon!

Seemingly Absent

With classes on the rise and not having too much extra time, I have not been able to take as many pictures as I would like. Okay, I haven't really taken any pictures this semester. I am sorry for those few of you that enjoy looking at them, I don't have anything new or exciting to post. I did just want to let you know that I am in fact thinking of picture taking and what I want to do with my pictures...I just haven't taken any recently!
